SpongeBob SquarePants |
SpongeBob is a loveable sea sponge who resides in a fully furnished, two-bedroom...pineapple.
SpongeBob is incurably optimistic, innocent, earnest and well meaning. He is a free spirit, fascinated by the obvious, yet creative enough to see everything in a new light. His good humor and good intentions often irritate others, but his refreshing attitude makes him a likable underdog. By day he embraces each moment with enthusiasm. By night, he often lies awake so as not to miss anything.
He has an unusual love for his job at The Krusty Krab, a fast food restaurant. In fact, he's so proud of his Krusty Krab uniform that he can hardly bring himself to take it off -- even when he showers!
SpongeBob has a wide circle of companions he calls his friends and a variety of interests to keep him occupied including jellyfishing, bubble art, karate, playing the conch and the pursuit of the perfect Krabby patty.
Despite all of SpongeBob's positive character traits, he can't seem to avoid creating predicaments for himself. SpongeBob zeal usually means SpongeBob disaster. In almost any situation, from jump-starting his outboard boat-mobile to just picking flowers for someone in the hospital (who's probably there thanks to him), SpongeBob’s potential for disaster looms large.
SpongeBob is always optimistic. He’s a sponge who can't help but look on the bright side and his positive energy transforms the way we look at things and helps us find the humorous irony in even the dullest of life's details. |

PATRICK STARFISH |
Patrick Starfish is SpongeBob's best friend. Patrick is part sloth and part dude and spends a lot of time clinging to the bottom of his rented rock. His hobbies include sleeping and lying dormant. He doesn't work and makes us wonder how he feeds himself.
Patrick's life ambition can be summed up in four words, "uh...I...uh...forget." Patrick also forgets to stay out of the sun and his starfish body sometimes ends up dehydrated and as rigid as a gift shop curio. He totally idolizes SpongeBob and hangs on his every word. Yet, SpongeBob will often turn to Patrick for advice and encouragement, especially in dire situations. When SpongeBob recounts how he got to clean the grease traps at the Krusty Krab, Patrick is in awe. The two of them can get into a lot of trouble together. Patrick acts as the gas to SpongeBob's fire, increasing the potential for catastrophe for everyone around them. But whatever happens, Patrick always remains a loyal friend.

SQUIDWARD TENTACLES |
Squidward Tentacles would rather be playing his clarinet with the Bikini Bottom Philharmonic then tending to his duties as waiter of the Krusty Krab. What's stopping him? He's an awful clarinet player!
Squidward is an embittered, whiny, aloof, stick-in-the-mud octopus who thinks he's too good for this greasy trident. He is the kind of octopus who subscribes to Martha Stewart Living, conducts along with his favorite Beethoven recordings and has his tentacles manicured every Thursday.
Squidward lives his life annoyed. The Krusty Krab annoys him. The customers annoy him. The boss annoys him. The vinyl seats annoy him. But most of all, SpongeBob annoys him, almost 24 hours a day. Besides working side by side with SpongeBob at the Krusty Krab, Squidward is SpongeBob’s next door neighbor. If it weren't for the fact that SpongeBob is the only one who appreciates his clarinet playing, Squidward would have nothing to do with him. SpongeBob, on the other hand, thinks he and Squidward are the lunch shift dream team -- the stuff deep fried legends are made of.

ANGELICA PICKLES |
Tommy’s cousin and a Rugrats alumna who can talk both to grown-ups and toddlers. She’s tempestuous. She’s tyrannical. She’s three. She manipulates her parents, shows off for strangers – and when she comes to play, the Rugrats run for cover. “You stupid babies!” she bellows as she bullies them into playing by her rules. “You don’t know anything!” she screams as she terrorizes them with “true” stories from her imagination. Even worse, she forces them to sit still for her off-key, lyrically mangled musical numbers. Beneath her cold, hard exterior beats the heart of a true spoiled brat. But however cleverly devilish her schemes, somehow Angelica always seems to get the worst of it.
| TOMMY PICKLES |
The leader of the intrepid band of Rugrats, is intelligent, courageous, compassionate and articulate. He also happens to be “one years old,” which gives him an endlessly interesting perspective on life. Stu and Didi Pickles do their best to coddle him. But as Tommy says, “A baby’s gotta do what a baby’s gotta do.” Under the not so very watchful eyes of the grown-ups, he leads his Rugrats friends on expeditions to unravel the great mysteries of life – like “where does the light go when the refrigerator door is closed?” To Tommy Pickles, the world doesn’t always make sense, but it makes an incredible amusement park.

| CHUCKIE FINSTER |
The worrywart in every crowd. In addition to being Tommy’s best friend, Chuckie is a likeable two-year old scaredy-cat who sees monsters in every closet and worries about the hundred ways things can go wrong. Tommy’s adventurous schemes often reduce Chuckie to shivers. “M-m-maybe this isn’t such a good idea,” he’ll suggest, as the Rugrats are off to sneak into the dark and dank garage. But since Chuckie also hates being left behind, he trudges along warily. And in the process, he often surprises himself with the courage he summons up. Like his dad, Charles Sr., Chuckie never forgets that every silver lining comes with a cloud attached. But the sun is peeking through at last, now that Chuckie has a new mommy and sister.

She provides the driving energy for the show with her spirit and excitement.

COSMO & WANDA (The Fairly OddParents) |
| Fairy godparents help kids in need, and Cosmo and Wanda saw Timmy as a client who fit the criteria. The problem is that Cosmo and Wanda are a bit wacky and usually end up creating more chaos than good as a result of their magic. Timmy’s other challenge is that he is the only one who can know the godparents exist. If they’re found out -- they must go away forever. |
| Cosmo |
Timmy’s fun-loving fairy godfather. His great sense of humor is only surpassed by his magical ineptitude. Always in a good mood, Cosmo rips through Timmy’s life with a combination of optimism, fun and the slightly dangerous inability to see any repercussions to his actions. He loves nothing more than making Timmy happy and tormenting Timmy’s evil babysitter, Vicky.
| Wanda |
Timmy’s strong-willed fairy godmother and Cosmo’s longtime partner in magical mayhem. She has a blast making magic with her husband, but if the chips are down, and Cosmo caves (which usually he does), it’s Wanda who will ride to the rescue. She’s got every inch of enthusiasm, excitement and energy as her husband, but Wanda is smart enough to know that actions have consequences. And then, she still may ignore them because she’s having so much fun.

A natural storyteller, he uses his imagination to turn the ordinary into the extraordinary and enjoys creating new games to act out with his friends. When he's not looking after his pet hamster or watching his favorite television show, Captain Brainstorm and the Space Explorers, Little Bill is playing with his friends Andrew, Kiku, Dorado and Fuschia. With his infectious belly-laugh, Little Bill creates excitement wherever he goes.
| Pablo |
Pablo is an energetic, enthusiastic and excitable penguin with the Backyardigans. He thinks, speaks, acts and reacts quickly. But because he's wrapped just a little too tight, sometimes his excitement can overwhelm him - making him the character most likely to run in a circle flapping his flippers and squawking. He may not be the most agile or graceful of the friends, but he's probably the most determined and enthusiastic. |
