Most people would look at April and think she’s just a regular 16-year-old girl living in New York City. She and her friends like to hang out, play video games and eat pizza. Seems normal, right? Except her friends are mutant ninja turtles who live in the sewers and her father was kidnapped by a group of enemies intent on taking over the world. So yeah, maybe not so normal. Lucky for her, she met Leo, Donnie, Raph, Mikey and Splinter right on time. Weird things have been happening in her neighborhood. So, she’s gonna need some really tough friends.
Blue is a playful, affectionate, curious preschooler with a clue... three, actually. She doesn’t dig bones or chase her tail like other dogs – she goes to school, rides a bike, loves to read, and leaves paw prints on clues to tell her friends what she wants to do or play that day. She speaks only in barks, unless she enters Blue's Room – a magical secret space where she can talk to YOU on the ultimate preschool playdate.
Dora's best friend Boots is a furry, fuzzy, five-and-a-half-year-old monkey. He mostly speaks English, but he is learning some Spanish from Dora, as well as at school. Sweet and loving, he likes to take Dora's hand and follow her lead like a worshipful younger brother. Playful, giggly, and happy, Boots loves making Dora laugh. He is very agile and acrobatic; he loves to run, jump, swing from his tail, and do amazing triple back flips. He lives with his family in a tree house. He loves his boots, his stuffed dinosaur, his music class, solving riddles, performing his signature Monkey Dance, and of course, BANANAS! Most of all, he loves exploring with Dora.
Cosmo is Timmy's Fairy Godfather, on The Fairly Odd Parents. On the intelligence meter, this guy's no brain surgeon. In fact, you wouldn't use the word, "brain" to describe him at all. He means well and he is FUNNY, but his magic wand has been known to invite mayhem into Timmy's life and everyone around him.
Diego is an active action-adventure hero, much like his cousin Dora. Athletic, fearless, and determined, Diego’s goal is to save and protect the animals and their environment. Working at the Animal Rescue Center with his parents and sister, Diego has developed has a special relationship with animals. In turn, the animals and plants offer Diego their help too, for they know Diego is always there to help them with his scientific mind and his caring heart. Diego faces each challenge with confidence, enthusiasm, a love of learning, a respect for the environment, and a desire to help others. His variety of high-tech gadgets, gizmos and super-cool tools don’t hurt either. But most of all, Diego relies on your help to complete each mission.
The knowledgeable scientist, inventor, engineer, and technological genius, Donatello wears a purple mask and wields the bo staff. Unlike his brothers, Donatello prefers to use his knowledge to solve conflicts. He is named after the early Renaissance Italian artist and sculptor from Florence, Donatello.
Dora is an adventurous, bilingual, seven-year-old Latina heroine who lives in a lush, tropical world. Determined, positive, helpful, and caring, Dora is always ready for an adventure. She is an extremely active kid – playing soccer on the Golden Explorers team, dancing, camping, doing gymnastics, and embarking on magical adventures. She’s filled with a sense of wonder and a can-do spirit as she uses her problem-solving skills and her bilingualism to overcome obstacles on her quests. She always asks questions and relies on help from YOU to help a friend in need, recover a lost object, or save the day.
Fanboy is a non-stop dreamer who’s on a never-ending mission to have a good time. Although he’s dressed as a super hero, he doesn’t see himself as one – he just wears a costume every day. A born leader, Fanboy is an active thrill-seeker; he lives a non‐stop, full‐tilt, to‐the‐extreme kind of life. He seeks the most maximum of experiences – the sourest candy, the hottest hot sauce, the movie seat closest to the screen. And he’s the only kid who drinks a Frosty Freezy Freeze to purposely get the brain freeze. Bottom-line, he’s one-of-a-kind and proud of it!
ZOOM! Did you see that streak of blue fly by? It must be Geo, Milli’s twin brother! Geo loves to zoom everywhere he goes with his awesome Super Skates. He’s the team’s shape expert and master builder. With his Shape Belt and Blueprints, he can build anything, like cars, rockets, submarines, and more!
Gil is the silly, rambunctious co-host of the show. If he sees a ball, he has to throw it; if he finds an electric guitar, he has to play it; and if there's a pig costume around, you can be sure he'll be oinking in no time. Gil's upbeat energy and insatiable curiosity is infectious, so he's great at encouraging others to join in his adventures. You can be sure he'll deliver some preschool-friendly slapstick humor along the way.
A courageous leader and devoted student of martial arts, Leonardo wears a blue mask and wields two Katana. He is the oldest of the four and the most skilled fighter of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Leonardo was named after the Italian polymath, scientist, engineer, inventor, anatomist, and painter, Leonardo da Vinci.
Easy-going and free-spirited, Michelangelo wears an orange mask and wields a pair of nunchuks. Michelangelo provides much of the comic relief. He is the youngest of the four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. While he loves to relax and eat pizza, this Turtle also has an adventurous and creative side. He's something of the "surfer" boy, speaking usually in a Southern California accent. He is named after the Italian Renaissance painter, sculptor, architect, poet, and engineer, Michelangelo Buonarroti.
Spunky, imaginative, and a natural leader, Milli makes math extra exciting! Singing her special “Milli Measure” song makes her ponytails grow super long, perfect for measuring anything! She also has a special dress that can change patterns when she sings “Pattern Power!”
Ming-Ming is the most outgoing and confident team member in the Wonder Pets. She loves to be the center of attention, almost as much as she loves flying, which she recently learned to do. She can sometimes be a bit overzealous and get ahead of herself, but this little duckling certainly makes up for it in terms of courage, caring and "can-do" spirit.
This girl has star power! She's smart, she sings, and most important, she's a really good friend. Molly co-hosts the show with Gil, and due to her bubbly personality, every Guppy and land-dwelling preschooler wants to swim with her. She always makes it a point to turn to the camera and talk to the audience directly, ensuring that they stay at the center of all the action.
Mr. Krabs is the cheapskate owner of the Krusty Krab and boss to SpongeBob and Squidward. The only thing this crustacean likes more than money; his whale of a teenage daughter, Pearl.
Mrs. Puff is a pufferfish and owner and teacher at Mrs. Puff's Boating School on SpongeBob SquarePants. In all her years teaching, and there are many, she's only had one student fail her class, SpongeBob. She'd like nothing more than to pass him, but then she'd worry about what would happen to the citizens of Bikini Bottom if SpongeBob was allowed on the open roads.
Pablo is the most energetic, enthusiastic and excitable friend in the Backyardigans. He thinks, speaks, acts and reacts quickly. Sometimes his excitement can overwhelm him - making him the character most likely to run in a circle flapping his flippers and squawking. He may not be the most agile or graceful of the friends, but he's probably the most determined and enthusiastic.
Dimwitted. Foolish. Some would even say stupid. But would a stupid sea star ever utter, “The inner machinations of my mind are an enigma” or “So, do you come here often?” I think not. When he’s not talking fancy, Patrick is usually with SpongeBob or waiting for SpongeBob. Or tidying up his home, which is under a rock.
He’s just a talking sponge is all… optimistic, hardworking, and, in his own words, “a little bit naïve… I love my job at The Krusty Krab, I sleep with my shoes on, I like jelly on both sides of my toast, I've got an overdue library book. I think jelly fishing and bubble blowing are the Seabee's knees. I have a slight overbite, say the word fancy in conversation, like to dance to loading zone announcements, and I still don't have my driver’s license.” Ah, yes. SpongeBob’s been trying to pass the hands-on part of his driving test for more than a decade, but to no avail.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' bad boy, Raphael wears a red mask and wields a pair of sai. He has an aggressive nature and seldom hesitates to throw the first punch. He is an intense fighter and can be alternately fierce and sarcastic, and oftentimes delivers deadpan humor. Still, he is intensely loyal to his brothers and sensei. Raphael is good friends with Casey Jones. He is named after the Italian painter and architect of the High Renaissance.
One of SpongeBob’s closest friends, Sandy’s been ’round these parts ever since she moved from Texas! She loves sports and inventing things, and hanging around her treedome - her own private air bubble, filled with the driest, most airiest air in the whole sea! She doesn’t get many visitors.
He envisions himself a man of the arts, just biding time as a cashier at the Krusty Krab until his big break. But the more time that goes by, the more bitter he becomes, about everything. Like work, “Here I am. . . trapped in a prison of high cholesterol,” his neighbors, “I would rather tear out my brain stem, carry it into the middle of the nearest 4-way intersection and skip rope with it, then go on living where I do now,” and life, “Why must every 11 minutes of my life be filled with misery?” Squidward is a joy to be around.
Wanda's no genius, but she's a real whiz with a wand on the The Fairly Odd Parents. And at least she knows when to quit fooling around and get down to business. When Cosmo and Timmy are totally lost, they both turn to Wanda for wisdom. Luckily, she usually has half a clue.
