The Aquatics Team Slide Attendant

Nickelodeon Suites Resort has 2 amazing water parks....we are always on the lookout for great Aquatics Team Members. Thanks to Larry the Lobster, Sponge Bob got his chance at Goo Lagoon....now you can try and follow in the square one's footprints!

The Aquatics Team is looking for dynamic people to develop their career in the aquatics department as a Seasonal Slide Attendant/Lifeguard.

In other words we are looking for individuals to bring NICKELODEON TO LIFE in our pool areas of course with Sponge Bob. 

Earn while you learn - This position will start out as a slide attendant while working toward their lifeguard certification. We furnish the classes and the certifications which includes lifesaving, CPR, First aid, and AED/Oxygen training.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Pay: $9.00/hr—$9.50/hr after 90 Days!
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • You will be required to complete a Lifeguard Certification Course, this will be paid training.
  • Seasonal Position – must be available a minimum of 30hrs a week. During high-occupancy you may be scheduled a minimum of 40hrs a week.
  • Must be open to working all shifts which include days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Extended vacation requests will not be honored during High Peak Season – June 5th – September 9th.
  • Interviews will be held on Monday, June 15th @10AM at the Nickelodeon Resort Orlando
  • Orientation is scheduled for Tuesday, June 16 – 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Recreation Arcade Attendant

Nick Hotel, the world’s first and only Nickelodeon themed resort is currently seeking an Arcade/4D/Laser Maze attendant to help “Bring Nick to Life”.

New starting rate of pay - $9.00

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Sell tickets, unlimited wristbands and operate the 4D and Laser Maze attraction.
• Operate a computer cash register and accurately handle money transactions.
• Distribute and maintain redemption merchandise and displays in the arcade.
• Clean and maintain assigned areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Provide exemplary guest service

Qualifications:

• Previous cash handling experience is required.
• Attractions/Theme Park experience is preferred.
• Must be comfortable interacting with kids.

Housekeeping Suite Attendant

Our housekeeping department is looking for great people who can dazzle with their cleaning skills.

NEW STARTING PAY RATE - $9.25/HR

NEW 90 DAY PAY RATE - $10.00/HR

Job responsibilities include:

  • Provides highest level of cleanliness quality to all guest suites in a timely manner and in accordance with established Hotel “Room-Readiness” standards and guidelines.
  • Follows company policy and procedures for key control, chemical handling and safety guidelines.
  • Reports all suite maintenance problems per department guidelines in a timely manner.
  • Cleans, returns and stores equipment in the proper location.
  • 40 hours of on the job training provided.

Required skills include:

  • At least 6 month experience is a must.
  • Must be able to complete required number of suites/rooms on a daily basis as determined by hotel and management needs.
  • Good communication skills
  • Must be able to meet flexible scheduling requirements that may include shifts, weekends, holidays, etc. as required by management. Schedule time is 8:30am-5:00pm

Resort Services Front Desk Agent

Outside of the Welcome Center Security Officer and the Bellmen, the Front Desk Agents are the first employees that guests see when they arrive. In fact, the check-in process is quite intensive and can set the tone for the guest stay.

Basically, we have one type of customer....Mom-Dad-Kids. We are a family resort where kids rule. When families come into our guest Lobby, they are BEYOND excited to be there. We are looking for people that can enhance and continue their excitement at the front desk during check-in and check - out.

NEW STARTING PAY RATE - $10.50/HR

NEW 90 DAY PAY RATE - $11.25/HR

Specific duties include:

  • Greets all guests as they approach the Front Desk
  • Performs guest check ins/outs, and following our Check-in Standards
  • Assists guests with reserving Character Parties and Breakfasts, and seats for the shows in Studio Nick
  • Answers guest questions and assisting them with their needs, ensuring all requests are followed through and completed
  • Handles guest complaints and taking action to resolve problems
  • Maintains up to date knowledge of all hotel and area events and activities so that guests will receive accurate and prompt information when requested
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management

Required Skills:

  • 3-5 Years Prior Hospitality Guest Service experience required or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Good interpersonal communication skills
  • Bachelor or Associate Degree in Hospitality Management preferred
  • 1 -2 years of Front Desk experience preferred
  • Requires full availability for any shift, any day, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Basic math skills a plus.  Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts
  • Ability to recognize and respond to critical guest and/or team member problematic situations in a timely and positive manner resulting in resolution

Responsibilities:

• Interacts and communicates with guests in a timely and positive manner, provides information as needed.
• Offers luggage assistance to all arriving guests.
• Offers to escort or drive guests to their building, suite or other on property locations
• Assists in answering the Bell Stand phone at times within three (3) rings and with the resort approved greeting.

  • Prepare standard mixed drinks according to drink recipes and to match customer’s specific orders

  • Responsible for ordering and maintaining liquor and bar supplies

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • One year bartending experience required
  • Minimum of 1 year cash handling preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Food & Beverage Restaurant Server PM

Nicktoons Café is our full service dining restaurant  We feature both an "A la Carte Menu" and a buffet selection for our guests to choose. Servers in this position will need to be a whiz at providing drinks and removing plates. The Nicktoons Cafe is a crazy-busy time.

We are looking for folks that can have fun...show enthusiasm.

Starting rate - $6.00 plus tips


Essential duties include:

* Treating our guests to a Nicktastic dinning experience

* Taking orders and maintaining correct steps of service

* Upselling when ever possible to raise check average

* Clearing plates and making sure each table is show ready at all times

* Working with the Busser to keep restaurant clean and organized

 * Talking to kids about their favorite Nick Character.

 Required Skills:

* Previous restaurant experience as a server in a resort or themed restaurant is required.

* Servers at Nicktoons are the best of the best....filled with many years of experience.

* However, keep in mind that experience can only go so far.

* This is a restaurant which provides a fun family dining experience.

* The ideal candidate will have a zest for serving along with the keen ability to get along and have fun with kids.

The Nickelodeon Hotel is the place for kids!! As a result....our food court is where kids LOVE TO EAT. We are currently accepting applications to work in our mall as a Food Court Cashier.  Food Court Cashiers take guest orders, work a cash register, and also assist with filling the orders. Nickelodeon Suites Resort is currently looking for a Security Officer. Please see below the responsibilities:

New start rate of pay $10.00

New 90-day rate of pay $10.75

  • Responding and evaluating emergency situations to ensure that guests or employees are receiving the necessary attention.
  • Patrolling the property in its entirety; lobbies, corridors, public rooms, restrooms and back of the house areas to ensure safe and working environment for guests and employees.
  • Investigating complaints of disturbance, theft, vandalism, or accident.
  • Completing incident reports for disturbance, theft, vandalism, and or accident complaints.
  • Transporting emergency equipment to accident scenes.
  • Conferring with management, guest and employee to ensure that incident reports depict accurate information.
  • Writing safety and security reports in a timely and accurate fashion.
  • Responding to lost child reports by engaging in property search, communicating with management and law enforcement.
  • Assisting management and law enforcement officers in emergency situations.

Requirements for this position:

  • Regular attendance is required.  Ability to work varied shifts (including 3rd shift).  Weekends and holiday availability a must.
  • High school degree or GED
  • 1-3 years prior security experience is preferred.
  • A valid class D Security license is required
  • Fluent in English.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written ).
  • American Red Cross First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.
  • Rapid mobility is required to respond to emergency situations
  • This position occasionally will require lifting up to 50 pounds.
