Entertainment Costume Tech

Job responsibilities include:

  • Laundering costumes, stage towels and show contestant clothing on a daily basis

  • Maintaining show quality of character costumes and props as assigned

  • Performing minor repairs to costumes and props as assigned

  • Preparing scheduled costumes and props for daily operation

  • Assisting with events and special projects as assigned

  • Assisting with inventory and maintaining consumables for costume care on an as needed basis

Required skills include:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays is required.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work with limited supervision.
  • Previous seamstress and laundry experience is required.
  • Use of sewing machine experience is a must.
  • Previous experience with character costumes is preferred.

Housekeeping Director of Housekeeping

This is a unique and challenging opportunity for the right individual who has a strong operational mindset combined with a professional and consultative approach.  Proven track record of assessing situations, making recommendations, and carrying out a plan of action will be necessary.  Ability to motivate and build a team of committed individuals focused on providing positive guest experiences through cleanliness.

We are looking for an applicant with a strong, stable job history within the hospitality housekeeping industry.  A multi-tasker that brings operational efficiency along with a positive team attitude to the table.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Directs day to day housekeeping operations
  • Plans housekeeping schedules and programs
  • Implements policies and procedures for housekeeping and laundry department
  • Plans and conducts regular meetings with staff as required to promote the interests of the department and the Hotel
  • Develops and implements a comprehensive room & property inspection program to ensure proper and timely room-readiness based on established standards and guidelines
  • Makes recommendations on purchases and applications regarding cleaning products and equipment
  • Organizes training programs for all areas of housekeeping based on established standards
  • Assists in preparation of annual budgets and administers budgets to promote fiscal integrity and accountability
  • Establishes communication and teamwork with other Directors as required
  • Provides effective management of people and process in accordance with company Management Performance Standards
  • Provides quality guest and team member service in accordance with company Quality Service Performance Standards
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required skills include:

  • High school degree or GED
  • 10 years progressive hospitality experience INCLUDING 5-7 years’ experience in a property with more than 400 rooms AND 3 years in a senior level Director of housekeeping at a large hotel resort

  • Advises Bellman of action to be taken in response to unusual requests.
  • Resolves guests' complaints pertaining to conduct of Bellman and lost or mishandled baggage.
  • Gives directions to new workers and maintains time records.
  • Gives travel information to guests.
  • Acts as agent for transportation company.
  • Calls Bellhops to escort guests to rooms or perform related services.

Resort Services Front Desk Agent

Our 3rd Shift Front Desk agents staff the Front Desk of the Nick Hotel during the overnight shift. Outside of the Front Gate Security Officer and Bellmen, they are the first employees that guests see when they arrive. In fact, the check-in process is quite intensive and can set the tone for the guest stay.

Basically, we have one type of customer....Mom-Dad-Kids. We are a family resort where kids rule. When families come into our guest Lobby, they are BEYOND excited to be there. We are looking for people that can enhance and continue their excitement at the front desk during check-in and check-out.

This position requires a work schedule from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Greeting all guests as they approach the Front Desk.
  • Performing guest check-ins/outs, and following our Check-In Standards.
  • Assisting guests with reserving Character Parties and Breakfasts, and seats for the shows in Studio Nick.
  • Answering guest questions and assisting them with their needs, ensuring all requests are followed through and completed.
  • Handling guest complaints and taking action to resolve problems.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all hotel and area events and activities so that guests will receive accurate and prompt information when requested.

Required skills include:

  • Bachelor or Associate Degree preferably in Hospitality Management.
  • 3-5 Years Prior Hospitality Guest Service experience required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1 -2 years of Front Desk experience preferred.
