Housekeeping Suite Attendant

We all know that SpongeBob lives in a Pineapple, but he also likes to stay at Nickelodeon Suites Resort, he loves to have a suite where everything is sparkling, that means this hotel should have great housekeepers to keep that level of cleanliness. If you love cleanliness and would like to work for SpongeBob, here is the opportunity to have the Slime of your Life!

NEW STARTING PAY RATE - $9.25/HR

NEW 90 DAY PAY RATE - $10.00/HR

Job responsibilities include:

  • Provides highest level of cleanliness quality to all guest suites in a timely manner and in accordance with established Hotel “Room-Readiness” standards and guidelines.
  • Follows company policy and procedures for key control, chemical handling and safety guidelines.
  • Reports all suite maintenance problems per department guidelines in a timely manner.
  • Cleans, returns and stores equipment in the proper location.
  • 40 hours of on the job training provided.

Required skills include:

  • At least 6 month experience is a must.
  • Must be able to complete required number of suites/rooms on a daily basis as determined by hotel and management needs.
  • Good communication skills
  • Must be able to meet flexible scheduling requirements that may include shifts, weekends, holidays, etc. as required by management. Schedule time is 8:30am-5:00pm

Housekeeping Houseperson

We all know that Spongebob lives in a pineapple, but he also likes to stay at Nickelodeon Suites Resort where he loves to have a suite where everything is sparkling clean.  We have many families coming to visit SpongeBob and we collect trash and linen from rooms all day long.  If you are like Spongebob and love cleanliness than here is the opportunity to become a Houseman with our housekeeping department.

New starting rate - $9.25

New 90 date rate - $10.00

The responsibilities to perform this job are provided below:

• Maintain corridors and keep them clear of all linen and trash
• Keep linen closets and linen shoots free of debris
• Replenish suite attendant carts as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned
Required Skills:

• 6 months experience preferred
• Ability to push, pull and lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to communicate with guests and co-workers • Must be able to meet flexible scheduling requirements that may include shifts, weekends, holidays,
• Regular attendance is required

Resort Services Front Desk Agent - 3rd shift

Our 3rd Shift Front Desk agents staff the Front Desk of the Nick Hotel during the overnight shift. Outside of the Front Gate Security Officer and Bellmen, they are the first employees that guests see when they arrive. In fact, the check-in process is quite intensive and can set the tone for the guest stay.

Basically, we have one type of customer....Mom-Dad-Kids. We are a family resort where kids rule. When families come into our guest Lobby, they are BEYOND excited to be there. We are looking for people that can enhance and continue their excitement at the front desk during check-in and check-out.

This position requires a work schedule from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM.

New Starting Wage - $11.00

New 90 Date Rate - $11.75

Job responsibilities include:

  • Greeting all guests as they approach the Front Desk.
  • Performing guest check-ins/outs, and following our Check-In Standards.
  • Assisting guests with reserving Character Parties and Breakfasts, and seats for the shows in Studio Nick.
  • Answering guest questions and assisting them with their needs, ensuring all requests are followed through and completed.
  • Handling guest complaints and taking action to resolve problems.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all hotel and area events and activities so that guests will receive accurate and prompt information when requested.

Required skills include:

  • Bachelor or Associate Degree preferably in Hospitality Management.
  • 3-5 Years Prior Hospitality Guest Service experience required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1 -2 years of Front Desk experience preferred.

Resort Services Bell Person

New Hire Rate - $7.00 + tips

New 90 Day Rate - $7.50 + tips

Responsibilities:

• Interacts and communicates with guests in a timely and positive manner, provides information as needed.
• Offers luggage assistance to all arriving guests.
• Offers to escort or drive guests to their building, suite or other on property locations
• Assists in answering the Bell Stand phone at times within three (3) rings and with the resort approved greeting.
• Assists in directing traffic in the driveway and front-entrance to the hotel.
• Assists in keeping the Drive and Lobby entrance Show Ready at all times.
• Assists with Room Changes and all luggage assistance requests.
• Maintains all bell logs as required.
• Reports to a Supervisor or Manager any situation involving a guest’s dissatisfaction with our service or any situation within the hotel.
• Maintains up to date knowledge of all hotel and area events and activities so that guests will receive accurate and prompt information when requested.
• Provides continuous guest and team member quality service in accordance with company Quality Service Performance Standards.
• Ability to work in a team environment

Requirements:

• High school graduate or GED
• Hospitality/customer service experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret documents including operational guidelines, safety materials, etc.
• Ability to respond to guest and team member inquiries including complaints in a positive and timely manner
• Basic math skills a plus
• Ability to recognize and respond to critical guest and/or team member problematic situations in a timely and positive manner resulting in resolution
• Good interpersonal communication skills
• Flexible Availability Friday - Sunday required.

Aquatics Lifeguard

LIFEGUARD OPEN HOUSE!

Nickelodeon Suites Resort is looking for dynamic people to add to our Aquatics Team that will bring

                                                    Nick to Life!!!

  • Must be 18 years of age to apply
  • Pay: $9.50/hr—$10.00/hr after 90 Days!
  • You will be required to complete a Lifeguard Certification Course, this will be paid training
  • Full Time Positions – must be available a minimum of 30hrs a week. During high-occupancy you may be scheduled a minimum of 40hrs a week or more
  • Must be open to working all shifts which include days, evenings, weekends and holidays.  Extended vacation requests will not be honored during High Peak Season – June 5th – September 9th
  • Swim Requirement: Swim 200yds with no breaks using the front crawl or breaststroke technique, 2 minute tread,  and retrieve a 10lb brick from deepest area of pool (5 1/2 ft) using a feet first surface dive
